    Patrons of Warsaw Community Schools can check on their children's school or look up the latest school board notes via computer now that WCS has its own home page on the Internet.

Developed by Nancy Rooker, a member of the WCS technological development team, the site includes individual pages on each of the corporation's 13 schools, plus an introduction to the superintendent, information about the school board's strategic plan and links to other education sites.

    Lisa Kachlik and Jerry Yeager were crowned king and queen of Warsaw's homecoming. The homecoming queen is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kachlik, Warsaw. Yeager is the son of Charles Yeager and Dixie Yeager.

Homecoming King and Queen Annette Bushong and Eric Beer were all smiles during halftime of the Wawasee-Plymouth game, following their coronation. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jon Bushong, Syracuse, and he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Beer, Milford.

    Leesburg High School basketball cheerleaders have been selected by the vote of students and school faculty members, Edward Trexler, principal announced today.

Nancy Albert, Mary Wildman and Wanda Plank will represent the varsity team. Second-team cheerleaders chosen were Diane Huffman and Sheri and Kay Smith. Judy Lewis was selected as an alternate.

October 13 1932

    Paul Chapman brought to The Times an advertising political fan put out by the late Robert H. Hitzler, Warsaw furniture dealer in 1895. It is a lady's folding fan, with bamboo splints, and on the top of each leaf is the name of some prominent Republican - Ben Harrison, William McKinley, Tom Reed, Chauncey Depew and others. The fan was found in some of Mr. Hitzler's effects by Bessie Smith.
