With a sectional championship on the line on Thursday night, the Tippecanoe Valley and Columbia City softball teams met at Fairfield High School and treated spectators to an incredibly well-played game. Pitching was the story all game long, with the Lady Eagles outlasting the Lady Vikings in a 4-2 win. 

The Tippecanoe Valley FFA Forestry Team is state champions again in the Practical Forestry Contest.

The second day of the girls tennis sectional at Warsaw featured just one match, but it certainly was a doozy. The host Lady Tigers and Tippecanoe Valley, both conference champions in the middle of great seasons, treated spectators to a fantastic match. At the end of five hard fought contests, it was Warsaw that earned the right to advance to Saturday’s championship with a 4-1 win.
