AKRON – Donald J. Bremer, 90, of Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, died at 2:11 p.m. July 28, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born May 21, 1921, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to Casey and Irene Kaminski Bremer. On Sept. 2, 1960, at Wesley Park United Methodist Church, Wyoming, Mich., he married Ruth Gilbertson Baird, who survives. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 2, 2010, with friends and family sharing many golden memories.
