Editor, Times-Union:About 5:30 this morning, I awakened with a song, as I often do. Sometimes it’s an “oldie” that I’ve forgotten years ago. Today, 3/15/2013, it was “It Took a Miracle.” The words go something like this:

Editor, Times-Union:In reference to Shirlee Clevenger’s Letter To The Editor 2/22/13, I, too, was so disappointed to hear he was let go by KCH.

Editor, Times-Union:In Don Guard's recent letter, he referred to Robert E. Lee as "one of our most famous generals."

Editor, Times-Union:On Friday June 26, 2015, after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled same-sex marriage was a legal right in all 50 states, many people involved in such illicit relationships were shown laughing, hugging and partying at different spots cross America.

Editor, Times-Union:The column "Book Puts Israel At The Center of West's Safety" (Clifford May, Sept. 3, 2009, Times-Union) was very interesting and timely.

- Paving Problems - Child Support - 'Corpus Christi' Paving Problems Editor, Times-Union: I read with great interest the letter published on 7/30 from a Mr.Jim R.Smith.His letter expressed his chagrin that the same day his complaint letter regarding the paving problems in his neighborhood was published, the paving was repaired by Rod Ladson and the Kosciusko County Highway Department. I wish that I could complain of the same, unfortunately this is the second letter to the editor I have been compelled to write regarding the atrocious piece of asphalt that the highway dept.calls a paved road rounding the bend of CR 200N by Biomet and JD Byrider.

Editor, Times-Union:It should be apparent to all concerned citizens of our democratic constitutional republic ...

- Right To Life - Shovel Your Walks - Remembering Barney - Helping Hands Right To Life Editor, Times-Union: Recently Kosciusko County Right to Life received a note from an individual stating, "When the 'Right to Life' people act to help others you might get my support."The note was attached to a letter from a Dear Abby column in which the writer said that people who carry big signs and stand out in front of abortion clinics should do something that actually helps women. Since the person who sent us this note did not provide their name, and because this type of concern comes along from time to time, I decided to respond through this newspaper.

Editor, Times-Union:This is a letter for the Letter to the Editor section of the Times-Union.

Editor, Times-Union:I wanted to respond to Heather Eslinger when she stated its called animal "control", defending the kicking of a dog to control its unruly behavior.

- Haines' Contributions - Stamp Out Hunger - Act Of Kindness - Honor Veterans - Recycling Improvement Haines' Contributions I would just like to take a moment to recognize the contributions that Steve Haines has made to the Democratic Party of Kosciusko County. Most people have no idea how much time and effort it takes to be County Chairman for the minority party, especially in the age when so many people prefer to take a free ride by claiming to be "independent" and not supporting either party.

- Abuse Of Power - Celebrity Autographs - Wallet Thief - Sinful Lifestyles Abuse Of Power Editor, Times-Union: Ms.Strang and Ms.Wright: Nice article, but I was appalled by Mr.Rogers' humble confession, and to do so in public, the poor soul! He knew only what he read in a newspaper? That's disgraceful! He would never have heard any public outcries concerning the abuse of political power either, other than the occasionally editorial.

Editor, Times-Union:Hillary is a woman of the people. It’s just people we don’t want to associate with.

Editor, Times-Union:There are so many things to say about Jerry and his effect on our lives that it is difficult to know where to begin.

Editor, Times-Union:I felt the need to comment on David Kolbe’s opinion about the legalization of marijuana. For a former prosecutor and current attorney, it’s very courageous to hear him speak out on this polarizing issue. We need to support people that are taking a stand concerning this. Maybe then people will stop being afraid and start speaking for what’s right.

Editor, Times-Union:A few days ago I was able to watch my second local cage fight at the theater in the round.
