Fights

A few days ago I was able to watch my second local cage fight at the theater in the round. In the past I have seen a few on TV and live in California. I like this type of sport where it's one on one with no excuses. It's good for young men to learn the abilities to defend themselves in a growing hostile environment. Personally, I would much rather see controlled violence than see a young person shipped off to Iraq or Afghanistan to die for oil.

One negative might be the fact that the previous contest had 12 matches as I recall. This session had six. The headliner didn't happen due to a no show.

Someone said their were 900 people in attendance. I can't confirm that. Minimum ticket price $20, max $32. You do the math. So that figures to $40-$64 tickets based on half the fights.

Question: Has anyone got a barn I could rent? Also, do the fighters get any of the money? Inquiring minds would like to know.
