The future of Warsaw distance running was on full display at the NHMLC Cross Country Championships as athletes from Lakeview and Edgewood produced standout performances against some of the strongest middle school competition in Indiana.

Fans in attendance for the Warsaw and Carroll girls soccer game on Tuesday night were treated to an absolutely splendid match at the Tiger Soccer Complex. The game featured an early goal, two ties, late dramatics and a game-winning goal by the Lady Chargers with 42 seconds left to secure a 3-2 win.
Another Friday night and another Warsaw football victory.
Having dropped two games earlier this week to two ranked teams in Carroll and Penn, the Warsaw volleyball team shifted focus back to Northern Lakes Conference play on Thursday evening as they traveled to Syracuse to take on rival Wawasee. It was smooth sailing for the Lady Tigers in this one, as they picked up a 3-0 victory to get back in the win column and stay perfect in the NLC.

The rivalry between the Warsaw and Wawasee football teams has gotten a bit lopsided in recent years, with the Tigers having one each of the last eleven games against the Warriors. That streak was extended to 12 on Friday night, as Warsaw brought the W trophy onto the bus to Syracuse, and took it back home with them after a 38-7 win moved the team to 5-0.

After three nail-biting victories to start the season, there was a big chance the trend continued with Northern Lakes Conference rival Mishawaka coming to town on Friday night. That was not the case, as the Tigers were the better team for all 48 minutes and they showcased it, dominating the Cavemen en route to a 43-7 victory to move to 4-0.

The Warsaw boys soccer team, fresh off a draw against a good Penn side on Saturday, resumed Northern Lakes Conference play with a statement on Tuesday night. Hosting Mishawaka, the home side scored five goals in the first eleven minutes in what turned into a 13-0 blowout that kept the team perfect in conference play.
The Warsaw Tigers football team moved to 3-0 in their 2026 Northern Lakes Conference (NLC) opener, outlasting the NorthWood Panthers 27-22 on Michael Schenck’s two-yard run riding the hip of junior giant Brock Lambert’s lead block with 27 seconds left.
Fresh off a win over Mishawaka on Tuesday to begin Northern Lakes Conference play, the Warsaw volleyball team traveled to Goshen on Friday night to try and make it two wins in as many tries in the NLC. The Lady Tigers were locked in from the jump, wasting little time in picking up a 3-0 sweep.

A week ago, the Warsaw football team used some explosive plays to find the end zone in what was a thrilling comeback victory over Snider. However, the offense struggled to move the ball with any consistency. Fast forward to Friday night’s game against Northrop, and the Tigers found themselves just two yards away from clinching a victory.
After beginning Northern Lakes Conference play with a massive win over Plymouth on Tuesday, the Warsaw girls soccer team looked to keep the good times rolling on Thursday, returning home to take on fellow NLC foe NorthWood. The Lady Tigers got off to as quick a start as you could ask for and cruised the rest of the way, remaining undefeated with a 7-0 win.

Down 12 heading into the fourth quarter of Friday night’s season opener against Fort Wayne Snider, the Warsaw football team was facing its first bout with adversity in the 2026 season. The Tigers responded incredibly well. Scoring two touchdowns on a pair of long runs while the defense bent but never broke, Warsaw was able to escape with a 33-30 win to delight the crowd at Fisher Field and begin the year with a win.
After starting off the season with a win on Tuesday night, the Warsaw boys soccer team remained at home to try to make it two in a row against visiting St. Joe. For the longest time, it looked as if neither side was going to come out on top, but the Tigers were propelled forward by a goal from senior Sam Lara with 1:11 left, which was good enough for a 1-0 win.
Fresh off the program’s first ever appearance in the state title game, the 2025 season was an up and down one for the Warsaw football team. The Tigers compiled a 6-4 record, going 5-2 in the Northern Lakes Conference before falling 45-28 to eventual semi-state participant Concord in the opening round of 5A sectional play.
After beginning the season this past Saturday with a round robin against perennial powers Hamilton Southeastern and McCutcheon, the Warsaw volleyball team set its sights on the Tiger Den on Tuesday night for the team’s first home game of the season. After coming up empty over the weekend, the Lady Tigers picked up their first victory of the year with a 3-1 win over Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran.

The high school track and field season concluded this season with the State Meet held in Indianapolis. Ten girls and six boys earned the prestigious honor of qualifying for the meet. Of note, track and field remains one of the few IHSAA sports that is unclassed, meaning all athletes must compete and earn their spot amongst all high school athletes.
For the second time in a week, track and field athletes from all over Northern Indiana converged with a spot in the state finals on the line. This time, it was the boys' turn with Warsaw hosting the festivities. With over 40 athletes from five local schools in attendance, there was no shortage of action. When the dust settled, seven of those competitors were able to punch their tickets to the state finals.
Having dropped both regular season games to Northern Lakes Conference champions Goshen, the Warsaw baseball team went into their sectional opener at the RedHawks facility hoping luck would turn the other way this time around. It almost did, as the Tigers led from the third inning onward. However, one final push by the hosts was enough to steal the game in the final inning, as Goshen advanced with a 3-2 walk-off win.
