AKRON - Tippecanoe School Corp. is in the process of seeking district-wide accreditation through the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement. Through this process, Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. wants to gather input from the community about how it serves the students and community of Tippecanoe Valley School Corp.
The school corporation will hold three public meetings in order to hear from all of the community stakeholders in the school corporation.
The community stakeholders not only include parents, but also taxpayers and business owners that support the school system. The meeting will include a general overview of the school corporation and that will be followed by small group discussions to gather information from the stakeholders.
The meetings will be held on Thursday at Akron Elementary School, March 27 at Tippecanoe Valley High School, and March 29 at Mentone Elementary. The meetings will run from 7 to 8 p.m. Childcare and refreshments will be available.
