Miss Kiera Rilynn Smythe, 6, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Indiana Pageant to be June 16 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.
The National American Miss pageants are for girls 4 to 18 and have five different age divisions. Smythe will participate in the princess age division, along with other young ladies from across Indiana.
The winner of the pageant will receive a $1,000 cash award, the official crown and banner, a boquet of roses and air transportation to compete in the National Pageant in California.
Her activities include Little League baseball. She enjoys dancing, music, cheerleading and playing with her friends.
