    The Indianapolis CPA Society recently honored John Dilling of Warsaw as Outstanding Accounting Major at Grace College, Winona Lake.

The Indiana CPA Society is an advocate for the profession through education, public awareness, government relations and high ethical standards.

    Dr. Larry W. Crabb, a one-time custodian in the Warsaw Community School Corporation, has been employed again - this time as superintendent.

Dr. Crabb signed a three-year contract at a salary of $38,000 per annum.

May 31 1955

    Tomaline Witham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Witham, of Atwood, was elected as one of the four senators in the all-campus election at Purdue University.

Witham was the only coed gaining this position, which represents the student body of Purdue.

75 Years Ago

May 31 1930

    A gold medal for the high school student taking the honors at the graduation period for 1930 will be presented to Anel Ristow at the graduation exercises Friday evening at the Presbyterian Church. The gold medal, handsomely engraved, is provided by J.E. Eachback, of this city.

Ristow, who took the honors for the graduating class of 1930, also was designated as the valedictorian.
