Winners in Warsaw Christian School's annual science fair are: Kristina Crane, grade 4; Hannah Tenaglia, grades 1-3; Ruth Moore, grade 5; and Katie Elliott, grade 6. More than 75 projects from students in grades 1-6 participated in the recent event.
RANTOUL, Ill. - Airman Keith L. Chrisman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Chrisman of 358 N. Locke St., Nappanee, has graduated with honors at Chanute AFB, Ill., from the U.S. Air Force technical training course for aircraft maintenance specialists.
Two Warsaw High School seniors, Rene Shue, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Shue, Winona Lake, and Russell Poor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arden Poor, North Union Street, felt especially lucky to be chosen by Representative Frank Rarick to serve as pages for the Thursday session of the Indiana assembly. Governor George Craig and most of the legislators were on hand as Indiana University was making an educational film showing state governmental bodies in action.
MILFORD - Alleging that bees are a nuisance during certain times of the year, a complaint has been filed with the town board of Milford by the citizens asking for an ordinance governing the housing of the honey-makers in the town. The matter has been referred to the town attorney and it is expected that an ordinance will be passed and the "Queen Bee" and all her folks will move outside the limits of the town.
