The Warsaw Community High School chapter of Business Professionals of America won at the National Leadership Conference recently. Students ranking nationally are Matt Turner, first in financial specialist and first in business math; Lyn Hartman, first in business knowledge skills; Pete Fussle, seventh in computer assistance; Lisa Hall, first in document formatting; Chad Laird, ninth in computer programming; and Michael Yuen, first in business math. Champion honors were brought home by the Whitko Livestock Judging Team at the State 4-H and FFA judging contest at Purdue University recently. J.D. Turner, of this city, claims that he is the one who has worn the same collar button for the longest time of anyone in this vicinity. the button was found in 1885 in a street at Rosedale, Kan., by his nephew. He bought it for a quarter and has worn it to the present time, numbering 40 years.
