    The Mental Health Association of Kosciusko County dedicated its Walk-In Center in honor of Colonel Joseph Gray, former executive director. The Mental Health Association is governed by a 21-personboard of directors.

Aug. 26 1972

    Two local men are telling friends about some hair-raising experiences they recently encountered in a four-day canoe trip down the Montreal River in Canada that included a drop over a 100-foot waterfall. Jim Maze and Steve Petty of Warsaw, along with Jim Jarrett of Rochester, were swept over the 100-foot waterfall and the canoe and all of the equipment was lost. The men escaped with nothing more than bruises and hurt pride.

Aug. 26 1947

    Tracks, a trade paper issued by the Nickle Plate Railroad, features an interesting article titled "The Egg and Agent Williamson." It is a story of the growth of the egg industry in the southern part of Kosciusko County and the development of Burket as an egg shipping center. E. B. Williamson, retired station agent, played a large part inthe development of this industry.
