    In a special joint meeting of the city council and the Warsaw Redevelopment Commission, a plan to keep Sofamor-Danek in the area was put into motion. The incentive package involves the city annexing 427.59 acres north of U.S. 30 and east of CR 150W under the I-2 Light Industrial zoning classification and adding the property to the Northern Economic Development Area.

    Mark Bower, of Warsaw, will serve as president of the sophomore class at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology during the 1984-85 academic year.

Bower, a sophomore physics major, is the son of Roger and Jane Bower. He is a graduate of Warsaw Community High School.

    Rev. and Mrs. Norman Cook and daughters, Michele and Milei, formerly of Warsaw and now missionaries in Formosa, are visiting his mother, Mrs. Victor Cook, Warsaw. They leave today for Portland, Ore. Miss Donna Cook, of Coachella, Calif., is also visiting her mother, Mrs. Victor Cook, for three weeks.

    Claiming that America commenced to go on the down grade when the United States recognized Soviet Russia, Rev. William (Billy) A. Sunday electrified his hearers Sunday at Winona Lake when he spoke during the "Foundation Day" exercises.

Sunday also paid his respects to the NRA and to Communists. His remarks were heartily applauded by the audience which more than half-filled the large tabernacle, which has a seating capacity of 6,000 or more.
