    The record for low team score for the Indiana Lakes Area Youth For Christ Golf Classic held recently was broken. The record was broken by the team of Don Clemens, Rich Hadad, Tom Johnson and Brian Davis. Their score at Stonehenge was 22 under par, which was six better than their closest competitor.

    Local residents Tom and Sara Maze, who own seven buffalos, attended the Semi-Annual Convention of the National Buffalo Association in Terre Haute during the weekend.

Larry and Betty Boggs, a rural Warsaw couple who own several buffalos and are members of the National Buffalo Association, did not attend the convention.

    Tippecanoe Country Club women golfers in the nine-hole division presented season championship trophies this week to Mrs. James Webb and Mrs. Bert Anderson, of Warsaw. Webb won the nine-hole group title and Anderson the nine-hole handicap title.

    Betty Zimmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.O. Zimmer of East South Street, has been pledged to the Delta Gamma sorority at Indiana University.
