    The Beaver Dam Better 4-H'ers met at the home of Eric and Diane Pontious, where a hot dog roast was held at the pond. Roll call was answered with "How many hot dogs did you eat tonight?"

Demonstrations were given by Chris Koldyke on "Clipper Care," Nathan Shewman on "How to Tie Shoes" and Heather Cumberland on "How to Make Bracelets."

    Tippe Ladies Bridge Club met recently. Mrs. H. W. Phillips, Mrs. William Johnson and Mrs. Herman Jensen were hostesses. Eleven tables were in play and prizes went to: Joan Guyton, Mary Pippenger, Mary Cunningham, Sis Pickering, Irene Bucher, Jessie Ker, Mary Anderson, Donabelle Cox, MIldred Yeager, Opal Lehman and Vi Phend. The door prize went to Mary Nicholsen.

July 4 1959

    The Little League and Pony League this year are attracting even a larger crowd than ever before. There is more of an interest in the Pony League game at the 13-15 age level. League commissioners are: Little League American, Eddie Blue and Del Foster; Little League National, Gene Butts and Vern Campbell; Pony League, Larry Pinkerton; Girls Softball League, Mrs. Gerald Kindy.

July 4 1934

    Raymond Neff was installed recently as Exalted Ruler of the Warsaw Elks' Lodge for the ensuing year. The services were in charge of Chester Zimmerman, past exalted ruler, who acted as installing officer. Prior to the installation services, Lloyd Johnson was initiated as a member.
