POTPOURRI - Home Plate Wedding - Look for the gang at Breading's Cigar Store to be all decked out Saturday when one of their own, Bill Beahan, takes the plunge.
Seems Wild Bill, Breading's No. 2-and-trying-harder soda jerk, is to wed Merrilee Campbell at high noon. But this isn't your basic walk down the aisle. Beahan, a baseball umpire, and Campbell are to be married at home plate at the Grace College baseball field. But some coaches who have had Beahan as an umpire have been heard to grumble his eyesight isn't good enough to even find home plate.
