10 Years Ago Georgia Tenney, of Whitko Middle School, was named Indiana's Office Professional of the Year April 14 at the awards banquet of the Indiana Association of Educational Office Professionals in Indianapolis. Her application will now be sent to the national competition. Tenney has worked first at the Pierceton Middle School, then at the Whitko Middle School after consolidation, in the educational office environment since the mid-1970s. 25 Years Ago The Gifted and Talented Art Class at Triton High School painted a mural on the cafeteria wall as part of their course. The class meets three hours on Thursday evenings under the direction of Kim Hassett, art teacher. Hassett said the extended time period gives students an opportunity to get thoroughly involved in the projects. Students participating include: Tracy Young, Norma Miller, Dale Trump, Mike McCollough, and Joel Rettinger.
