Donald K. Wiesehan recently won the 1998 ISPRA Outdoor Pistol State Championship. Wiesehan competed against high masters from all over Indiana.
POTPOURRI - Al Disbro, Winona Lake branch manager of the Lake City Bank, is known by friends and colleagues for a great interest in his photographic hobby. Once again, Al has "taken the cake" with quite a cute picture he recently snapped of Adam Burris and Tyler Bouse, area Silver Lake youngsters, standing by a toy tractor in the beautiful green countryside of Kosciusko County. The photo has been reproduced in full color and is featured on the cover of the 1984 Lake City Bank calendar.
Albert J. Schmit received a watch from Chester C. Cooley, president of Da-Lite Screen Co., Warsaw, during a 25th anniversary dinner held recently. Schmit, a resident of Tippecanoe Lake, has been with the firm 25 years. He is head of the custom screen department.
Special retirement services for Charles M. Woods from the employment of the Pennsylvania railroad company were held recently at the Masonic Temple. Woods entered service for the railroad in 1883 and retired Nov. 1, 1933, after 50 years of service.
