Cousin Clem: "The Loyal Order of Moose was founded in Louisville, Ky. in 1888 by Dr. J. Wilson, but the first Lodge was in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Warsaw Lodge was founded Oct. 6, 1913. Great doings are being prepared for its 77th anniversary. The Lodge rooms, southwest corner of Indiana and Market streets, was destroyed by fire on Oct. 13, 1967. These rooms were originally the Opera House, with ornate trimmings and high vaulted ceiling. This fire also destroyed five other businesses. The present location was purchased in 1968 and over the years has been remodeled and changes made several times. At present, there are 898 men members and 452 hard-working members of the Ladies Auxiliary. Bob Roberts, age 83, has been a member for 47 years."
