Warsaw resident and proud father Rich Wroughton  said, "They just want to be there" about his children. All four, from Rachel and Carrie, who attend Harrison Elementary School, to Ryan, who just left Lakeview and is headed to the high school next year, to Jenny, who graduated from WCHS last night, have perfect attendance. Wroughton said he and his wife, Cindy, don't force them to go, school is just where they like to be.

Nicole Diane Poort, 7, daughter of Diane Poort, Warsaw, and Emerson Poort, Warsaw, has been selected as a finalist in the 1986 Miss Indiana National Pre-Teen Pageant to be held in Indianapolis June 22. The Miss Indiana National Pre-Teen Pageant is the official state pageant for the Miss National Pre-Teen Pageant to be held in Florida in November 1986. The winner of the pageant will receive a $1,000 savings bond, crown, banner and a round trip flight to the National Pageant to compete with other state winners for the title of Miss National Pre-Teen of 1987.

Mr. and Mrs. Giles Hoffer, of Warsaw, left New York this morning aboard a ship bound for Bergen, Norway, their first stop on a 10-week tour of Europe.
The Hoffers will spend June 15-23 cruising around Norway, visit two days in Oslo and then go to Stockholm, Sweden. Their itinerary includes Denmark; Holland, Belgium, the British Isles, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Jugoslavia, Italy, Southern France and Spain. Mr. Hoffer, a Warsaw school teacher, is the Kosciusko County Republican chairman.

Kathryn Snyder and Alfred Snyder, who attended Manchester College during the past term, returned to their home at Crystal Lake. Alfred Snyder left immediately on a trip to Portland, Ore. Miss Snyder has been accepted in St. Luke's Hospital in Chicago and will leave in the fall to take a nurse's training course in that hospital.
