Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
10 Years AgoThere aren't many things Wawasee junior Shanna Zolman hasn't done on a basketball court. In a 77-56 home win over Kosciusko County opponent Tippecanoe Valley, she did something no girl in Indiana high school basketball history ever has. Her three-pointer with 6:51 remaining in the third quarter gave the Warriors a 46-23 lead and it gave Zolman her 2,000th career point. She became the first girl in state history to eclipse the 2,000-point mark prior to their senior season.25 Years AgoWarsaw Community High School's art department wasted no time in commemorating the school's giant basketball upset of top-ranked Marion, 55-52, last Saturday. The buttons sell for 50 cents and proceeds will be used by the art department.50 Years AgoMiss Waverly Berry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Berry, Warsaw, has returned to New York City following a brief visit here.
