REAL Services Offering Assistance for Utility Bills

SOUTH BEND – It hasn’t been a brutal winter … yet … but the worst may be yet to come. If you are having difficulty in paying your heating and electric bills, REAL Services may be able to assist you through the Energy Assistance Program.
If you live alone and your income is below $16,335 per year ($1,361 per month), you may qualify. Assistance for larger households is available.
The following chart illustrates maximum incomes for eligibility for households larger than one person.
