Phoenix Police Dept. Recruiting In Midwest

TOLEDO - The Phoenix Police Department will conduct written and physical tests for new recruits to join their exceptional law enforcement team. Testing takes place March 14-15 at the University of Toledo's Health and Human Services Building.

The Phoenix Police Department will recruit 500 more officers in 2008, meaning they can hire an average of 30-60 officers per month. The department offers $2,000 signing bonuses and 80 different specialty details as well as benefits exclusive to the Phoenix Police Department, including career enhancement pay, bilingual incentive pay, and longevity pay. The Phoenix PD will also pay for recruits' 18-week academy.

Each written testing room has a capacity of 110 participants, so early registration is recommended, however, walk-ins are welcomed. To qualify for the Phoenix Police Department, a candidate must be at least 20 years old, a U.S. citizen, a good driving record, a high school diploma or GED, excellent personal conduct, no felonies and meet police department drug standards.
