Lifeguard On Duty This Weekend

Posted

The city of Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department will have lifeguards on duty at Center Lake this holiday weekend.
On Saturday and Sunday, they will be on duty from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. They will be working from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday.
The last official day that the city parks department will have lifeguards at the beach will be Labor Day on Monday.
Swimmers can still enjoy Pike and Center Lake beaches after the Labor Day holiday. For a safe swimming experience this holiday weekend, observe city beach rules, and use good judgment when using the diving board and swimming from the piers, according to a press release from the Parks Department. Children should never be left alone at or near the beach. Lifejackets are encouraged for non-swimmers. Alcohol and dogs are not permitted at the beaches or in the parks.
