On Saturday, Oct. 24, Joe’s Kids hosted its first-ever Fall Family Resource Fair, bringing together families and local organizations for an afternoon of fun, connection and community resources.
The event welcomed nearly 200 attendees, family, community representatives, volunteers and staff members who helped make the day a success, according to a provided news release.
Families had the opportunity to learn about resources and services available throughout the community while enjoying a variety of family-friendly activities. Highlights included pumpkin painting, face painting, a photo booth, yard games and food.
“We were thrilled with the turnout for our first Fall Family Resource Fair,” said Rebecca Bazzoni, CEO of Joe's Kids “This event provided an opportunity for families to connect with local organizations, discover valuable resources, and enjoy quality time together. We look forward to continuing and growing this event in the future.”
Joe’s Kids extended its gratitude to all participating organizations, volunteers, staff members and families who helped make the event a success. Their support helps further the organization's mission of equipping children with diverse abilities to realize their full potential through care, community and connection, the release states.
