Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
On Oct. 22, the membership committee chaired by Pam Kraft and Cathy Cox hosted Altrusa’s annual meet and greet.
Community members interested in learning more about Altrusa were invited to Papa Vino’s. Guests were encouraged to ask questions and hear from current members. Many members shared why they joined Altrusa and the many volunteer opportunities, according to a provided news release.
The guest attendees were entered into a drawing for a Kindle Reader. Cynthia Aleman, a guest of member Ruth Skeel, was the lucky winner.
Members of the community interested in learning about Altrusa and the many volunteer opportunities are welcome to attend their monthly meetings anytime.
Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at noon at First United Methodist Church, Warsaw. Enter through the alley door and take the elevator up to the parlor room.
A dinner meeting is held on the third Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Papa Vino’s. Members gather from 5:30 to 6 p.m., order dinner, and socialize. The business portion begins at 6 p.m.
The community can keep in touch with Altrusa happenings by following them on Facebook at Altrusa-Warsaw, IN.
