Rick and JoEllen Boggs Jackson, of Atwood, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple was married Oct. 16, 1976, at the Community Grace Brethren Church, Warsaw. Rick retired from 30 West Auto in August of this year. JoEllen retired from Anthony Chiropractic and worked many years as a paraprofessional at Mentone School.
Together they raised three children: Kristi Hull, of Warsaw; Holli and spouse Shaun Hollering, of Warsaw; and Nicholas and spouse Jessica Jackson, of Hoffman Lake. They are also the proud grandparents to six: Evyn, Blakely, Renlee, Jacksyn, Sutton and Crew.
Their children will be hosting an open house on Oct. 18 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Matchett Center in Bourbon.
The couple request no gifts.
