SILVER LAKE - A free Thanksgiving meal will be served at the Silver Lake Lions Building Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 22) at noon. The building is at the corner of Walnut and Harrison streets, one block north of Ind. 14 in Silver Lake.
The facility is handicapped accessible.
This year meals only will be delivered to homes of the elderly and the handicapped. Those wishing to receive a meal at their home should call 574-566-2843.
Meals will be delivered at approximately 121:30 p.m.
In addition, complete meals will be available for caryout at the clubhouse for individuals who can physically do so.
For scheduling and purchasing purposes, everyone who is planning to attend this meal either in person, having home delivery or carryout service must call 574-566-2843 before Nov. 19.
