The newly formed Lakeland Community Choir, a group of adult singers from Kosciusko County, will perform a concert of Christmas choral works Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 210 S. High St. Formerly operating under the name Warsaw Community Choir, the group has been in existence since 1985. The choir was initially organized and directed by the Rev. Dick Anderson as a venue for performing Handel’s “Messiah.” Today the group sings a variety of styles and is currently under the direction of Dr. Ardis Faber. For information on joining the choir or for questions concerning upcoming concerts, contact Judie Meulink at 574-551-2232.
