The Beds and Britches, Etc. (B.A.B.E.) Program of the Health Care Foundation had its annual Mother's Day sale and gift basket drawing May 8 and 9.
The winner of the "Pamper Mom" gift basket was B.A.B.E. customer, Gloria Saldivar.
B.A.B.E. is an incentive program for pregnant women to receive early and consistent prenatal care for their unborn child; and to continue that care once the baby is born.
Many doctors and health clinics are involved in the program. As the participating parents utilize the services of these organizations, they earn coupons which can be redeemed at the B.A.B.E. Boutique for new items needed to care for their child.
B.A.B.E. encourages responsibility, self-esteem, and healthy habits for mother and child.
The B.A.B.E. Boutique is open on Tues. from 12-5 p.m. and Wed. from 10-1 p.m.
