Janet R. Crowell, 82, Warsaw, passed away at 1:24 a.m.  May 16, 2017, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.  She was born Nov. 7, 1934, to Plen and Marjorie Madden Yoder in Albion County. She worked for Whitley Products and for Da-Lite Screen. She was a member of Warsaw Family Worship Church, Warsaw. Janet enjoyed going to Center Lake with her family. She is survived by her children: Pam Minnix, John (spouse Sharon) Long, Grover Layne, Diana (spouse Al) Wehr, Richard Layne and Roger (spouse Jane) Layne; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband and several brothers and sisters. MILFORD — Charlotte R. Schuller, 72, Warsaw, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.  She was born Jan. 23, 1945, the daughter of Charles R. and Catherine Snead Hutcherson. She married Anthony D. Schuller in 1998; he survives.  Also surviving are her children, Ronda Coburn and Ronald Upson, both of Warsaw; stepchildren, Heather Schuller, Cromwell, and Shawn (Sara) Schuller, Columbia City; grandchildren: Chad Galloway, Heather Upson and Trae Upson; stepgrandchildren: Typhani Fiengo, Kyrsten Leasor, Ethan Leasor and Kinsley Schuller; along with a great-grandchild, Bradlee Galloway. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Cecil Hutcherson and CB Hutcherson. Charlotte was a dedicated homemaker and had also worked for several years at Dana, Syracuse. She was full of life and had many hobbies that included painting, sewing, shopping, collecting Boyd Bears and cats. Above all, Charlotte loved spending time with her family and being a grandma.  Family and friends will gather to share memories and say goodbye to Charlotte from 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 19, at Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 461 W. Ronald L. Wayman passed away at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, in his Bremen home. He was 60 years old. Ronald was born Jan. 11, 1957, in Stuttgart, Germany, to Richard Wayman Sr. and his wife, Theresia. He had spent the last eight years living in Bremen but was a resident of Warsaw beforehand, where he had worked in the Cardinal Center workshop.

QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. — Deborah Ann Womack, known as Red, passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2017, in San Tan Valley, Ariz. Life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.  She graduated from Tri-State of Franklin, and Newbury College. Her gentle smile, her bright natural red hair and her warm laugh always welcomed you into her life. Never judging, never giving up on anyone, always giving of herself, Deborah was one of the richest persons in the world because she had so many friends, and was loved by even more, especially her new granddaughter. 

Belinda Lou Rider went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, at 8:44 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at her residence at the age of 54.  She was born Nov. 30, 1962, in Zanesville, Ohio, to Raymond Arthur Riley Sr. and Estella Mary McCloy Riley. On Jan. 9, 1982, in Crooksville, Ohio, she was married to John Lee Rider, who survives in Warsaw. 

LOGANSPORT — Rosetta Stout, 78, Logansport, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at 10:45 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2017, at her residence. Born Oct. 20, 1938, in Warsaw, she was the daughter of the late Rex and Pauline Borden Carey. On May 24, 1963, she married Casper Stout, and he preceded her in death Oct. 26, 1993. Rosetta was formerly employed at Federal Mogul in Leiters Ford, where she retired after 21 years.

Kenneth R. “Kenny” Whitaker passed away quietly at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2017, in his Warsaw home. He was 63 at the time of his passing Although he has been a longtime Warsaw resident, Kenneth was born on Aug. 29, 1953, to Lillian Faye Whitaker in Rensselaer. He worked as a shop attendant in Conley’s Barber Shops. Kenneth loved Chicago Cubs baseball and Pepsi-Cola. He was an admirer of all things military and even visited Camp Atterbury once. He was a man of faith who enjoyed going to church; he equally enjoyed time spent outdoors. Kenneth liked to watch old westerns and visit Magical Meadows. He is survived by a brother, David Ritchie; uncle, Jack (Patricia) Whitaker, Rensselaer; and aunt, Lilly Mae Madison, Rensselaer.  His mother, Lillian Faye Whitaker Floyd, and stepfather, Arthur Floyd, preceded him in passing. ROCHESTER — Sue Ann Blanchard, 72, Rochester, passed away at 6:15 p.m. May 15, 2017, at Woodlawn Hospital. She was born Feb. 2, 1945, to George H. and Dorothy M. Perdue Crissinger. She married Jerry D. Blanchard on Nov. 24, 1979, in Rochester. He died Nov. 16, 2009. A celebration of Sue Ann’s life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester. SYRACUSE — Robert R. “Bob” Kieler, 92, Syracuse, died at 11:23 a.m. May 15, 2017, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.  He was born Oct. 21, 1924, near Arcola, to Roy L. and Mary Leffers Kieler. MENTONE — Ellen Lee Flenar, 87, rural Mentone, died at 12:37 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. She was born Nov. 22, 1929, in Plymouth, to Forrest and Goldie Teel Kesler. On July 26, 1947, in Mentone, she married Robert D. Flenar, who passed March 9, 2011. Ellen was a wonderful homemaker and loved her family and taking care of her cat, Otis. She also worked at various jobs outside the home. She was a 1947 graduate of Mentone High School. She formerly attended Mentone Church of Christ. 

WATERLOO — Andrea Jean Henson, 56, passed suddenly of natural causes on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Two memorial services are being held in her honor. The gospel of Jesus Christ will be shared. The first service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 19, at Feller & Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo, IN 46793. The second service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20, at Grace Bible Baptist Church, 68080 CR 23, New Paris.  Andrea was born Oct. 15, 1960, to Robert “Tommy” Henson and Barbara Henson. She was known for her incredible personality, which suited her hard-working position as supervisor in various factories her entire adult life. Andrea was preceded in death by her longtime partner, Patricia Ann Miller, married June 6, 2015. Survivors include brothers: Dave Henson, California, and nephew Chad (Stacey) Henson; Bobby Henson, Milford, and nephews Chris, Travis and Kyle; and Brian (Sheila) Henson, Plainfield, and nephew Justin and niece Julia; sister, Carla (Brent) Cavender, Leesburg, and nephew Robbie; brothers-in-law: Ed (Kitty) Miller, Kendallville; Bryan Miller, Fort Wayne; and Phil (Jessi) Miller, Ashley; and sister-in-law, Vicki Herbert, Hamilton. ***** Memorials to the family or Grace Bible Baptist Church. SYRACUSE — Nancy A. Dunithan, 57, Syracuse, passed away at 8:35 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2017, at her residence.  She was born April 22, 1960, in Fort Wayne, to Stephen and Charlotte Aiken Glassley. She grew up in Fort Wayne and moved to Syracuse in 1975. She graduated in 1978 from Wawasee High School, Syracuse, and received an associate degree from Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne. She was married Oct. 9, 1981, in Syracuse, to Mark A. Dunithan, who survives.  She worked as a medical assistant for Krabill Family Medicine, Goshen, for six years and formerly worked for Dr. Bhagat in Goshen and Ameri-Camp in Syracuse. She was an active member of Syracuse Church of God.  She is survived by her husband, Mark Dunithan, Syracuse; two sons, Matt (Lindsey) Dunithan, Leesburg, and Ryan Dunithan, Syracuse; a daughter, Jennifer Dunithan, Chicago; two grandchildren, Bodie and Daxton Dunithan; her father, Stephen Glassley, Fort Wayne; her mother, Charlotte Glassley, Syracuse; three sisters: Karen (Gus) Widmer, Milford; Linda White, Milford; and Amy (Mike) Casati, Carmel; and a brother, Samuel (Pam) Glassley, Grabill. Kuhns, 79, Milford, passed away at 11 p.m. May 15, 2017, at Elkhart General Hospital, where she had been admitted Saturday.  She was born Feb. 3, 1938, in Milford, to Perry L. and Pennola Boley Hochstetler. On Sept. 2, 1965, she married Otis D. Kuhns in Shipshewana.  Calling is after 2 p.m. today and all day Thursday at the family residence, 3962 W. 1350N, Milford.  Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Carlisle Hershberger residence, 25559 C.R. 50. DECATUR – Danielle S. Wampler, 42, Decatur, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017, at Adams Memorial Hospital emergency room. She was born on Saturday, March 15, 1975, in Iron Mountain, Mich., the daughter of Pat and Marlene "Kay" Sherlund Salwolke. She married Ryan J. Wampler on Aug. 3, 1996, in Warsaw.  Danielle attended the Decatur Church of God. She was a Green Bay Packers fan and she loved to read. She loved to travel, especially cruises and spending time on the beach. Danielle also loved spending time at the lake and having her friends over. She was a graduate of Warsaw Community High School in 1993 and she received a criminal justice degree from Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne. She was employed at CenturyLink, Decatur, since September 2002.  Surviving are her husband, Ryan J. Wampler, Decatur; two children, Sarah and Seth Wampler, at home; parents, Pat and Kay Salwolke, Leesburg; and in-laws, Brenda and Todd Shuherk, Warsaw, and Steve and Sylvia Wampler, Ozark, Mo. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at Decatur Church of God, with Rev. Dr. Robert Brink officiating. Interment will follow in Decatur Cemetery. Robert G. Sanders, 69, Warsaw, passed away at 7:17 a.m. Sunday, May 14, 2017, in Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne.  On July 7, 1947, he was born in Indianapolis, to Albert J. and Jacqueline Perry Sanders. He was united in marriage to Sharon Stroud Hile on March 28, 1981, in Warsaw. She survives.

NORTH MANCHESTER — Peggy L. Iholtz, 83, North Manchester, went home to be with Jesus at 10:45 p.m. May 12, 2017, in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester. She was born Feb. 5, 1934, in Sidney, to Dale L. and Mary Elizabeth Gray Parker. She married William “Bill” Iholtz on Dec. 31, 1953. He passed away on April 24, 2011. She was a home

ROCHESTER — Francis Oliver Coplen, 92, Rochester, died May 14, 2017, surrounded by family. He was born in Rochester on May 11, 1925. He was married in 1947; his wife, Janet, died in 2011. Survivors include a brother, Melville Coplen, Warsaw. A service celebrating Mr. Coplen’s life will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester. Arnold Eugene Bell, 78, Rochester, passed away at 8:59 a.m. April 21, 2017, at the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.  He was born May 7, 1938, in Rochester, to John Arnold and Emlene Bernadean Zartman Bell. He was a United States Navy veteran. He was a truck driver most of his life.
