She was born June 15, 1928, in Nappanee, to Claude and Gladys Leasenby Stout. On Dec. 20, 1946, she married Tony Raymond “Bud” Schmucker. He survives. Cheryl Lynn Flohr Johnson Miller Terry, known by most simply as “Sherry,” passed away at 8:47 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, in Warsaw Meadows Care Center. She was 69 years old at the time of her passing.
Monroe “Buddy” Shepherd, 72, Claypool, passed away at 11:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, in his residence. He was born Dec. 14, 1944, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Alex and Audie Ellen Reffitt Shepherd.
Tom Kinch, 54, Warsaw, passed away on Oct. 5, 2017, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne. He was born on July 6, 1963, in Wabash, to John and Diane Grindle Kinch. He is survived by his life companion, Sonya Sturgill, Warsaw; a son, Dylan Kinch, Warsaw; two grandchildren; a brother, Todd Kinch, Warsaw; two stepbrothers, Kenny Archer, Warsaw, and Kevin Archer, Washington, D.C. Services will be held on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 4 p.m at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Visitation will be two hours prior from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Jerry L. Titus, 69, passed away on Wednesday, Oct 4, 2017, at 2:10 p.m. in Fort Wayne’s Lutheran Hospital. Jerry was a lifetime Warsaw resident. Jerry was born on Dec. 24, 1947, in Warsaw, to Ned C. and Maryon L. Circle Titus. He graduated from Warsaw High School in 1966 and from Indiana College of Mortuary Science in 1974.

Louis "Lou" Salvatore Biondi passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017, having lived and enjoyed 80 years devoted to and loved by his family and many friends. Lou was born in Rome, N.Y., on Jan. 10, 1937, the youngest child of the late Edgardo and Ausila Marino Biondi Sr. He was a 1954 graduate of Rome Free Academy. Lou married his high school sweetheart, Faith Smith, on June 1, 1957, at St. Peter's Church in Rome.
Demaris “Dee” Hochstetler, 78, Bremen, died at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017, at Elkhart Hospice House after a brief illness. She was born May 24, 1939, in Argos, to Lloyd and Ruth Bodey Reed.

He was born on Sept. 14, 1937, in Etna Green, to Forrest H. and Marie Heyde Heckaman. He was a 1955 graduate of Burket High School and was married to Bernita Aline Neal on Nov. 28, 1968, in Warsaw. They were married for 48 years before his passing.
