SYRACUSE — Tom Kinch, 54, Warsaw, passed away Oct. 5, 2017, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born July 6, 1963, in Wabash, to John and Diane Grindle Kinch.
He is survived by his life companion, Sonia Sturgill, Warsaw; son, Dylan Sturgill, Warsaw; two grandchildren; brother, Todd Kinch, Warsaw; and two stepbrothers, Kenny Archer, Warsaw, and Kevin Archer, Washington, D.C.
He was an avid race car driver, having started off in go-karts and eventually driving sprint cars. He raced throughout the Midwest on numerous tracks over the years.
Services were Sunday, Oct. 8, at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse.
