Youth Suicide Prevention Presentation Feb. 16 At TVHS

AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation invites parents, guardians and the community to attend a presentation by Jeff Yalden on the topic of youth suicide prevention Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Tippecanoe Valley High School Commons. Yalden is a high-energy, tell-it-like-it-is motivational speaker and parent communicator. He will provide a dynamic and entertaining message about teen depression and suicide that parents and guardians and the community need to hear, according to a press release from the school corporation. Due to the nature of the topic, the presentation is intended for adults only. Child care will be provided by members of the TVHS Student Council. Snacks also will be provided. The anticipated length of the presentation is 1-1/2 to two hours. Questions may be directed to Superintendent Brett R.
