A Tippecanoe woman is in jail after allegedly setting fire to a pile of clothes in a Warsaw yard early this morning.

Sherri Foust, 35, of 3072 Blackford Drive, Tippecanoe, was arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 4:12 a.m. today on one count of arson.

According to the Warsaw Police Department, Foust took clothing from a residence at 310 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, to a residence at 3035 Old Colony Road, Warsaw. Once at the Old Colony Road residence, Foust reportedly put the clothes in the yard and set it ablaze.

The clothes reportedly belonged to Amber Burke, the ex-girlfriend of Foust's son, Joshua Foust. Joshua Foust reportedly was upset with Burke, and Sherri Foust was angry about the situation so she set the fire.
