WINONA LAKE - The Village at Winona will kick of its Festival of Trees Nov. 17 at Rodeheaver Auditorium.

The festival will continue through Nov. 22 to benefit the Health Care Foundation of Kosciusko County.

General admission will be Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Nov. 19 from 2 to 8 p.m.; and Nov. 20-22 from 3 to 8 p.m.

The Festival of Trees expanded to a new location this year to feature 53 designer trees for auction and sale, decorated wreaths, centerpieces, mantle pieces and other holiday floral arrangements for sale.

"The festival is designed for families to spend quality time together and get them into the holiday spirit," said Tracie Hodson, executive director of the Health Care Foundation of Kosciusko County.

"We are pleased with Winona Lake partnering with us to hold the event."

Hodson said an addition to this year's festival is a Holiday Market that will feature gifts, hand-crafted items and Festival of Trees sweatshirts.

General admission donation to the Festival of Trees is $3 for adults, $1 for children age 5-12 and free for children under age 5. All proceeds from the festival benefit programs available through the Health Care Foundation.

Visitors can purchase a tree by placing bids on silent auction sheets attached to each auction tree or through Instant Purchase Option.

The auction will be continuous throughout the week with final bids taken Nov. 22 at 7 p.m.
