Winona Lake firefighters responded to a fire in a storage building at 121 Lakeside at 2:30 a.m. today.
More than 20 firefighters fought the blaze for more than four hours, with Warsaw firemen assisting.
A vacant apartment building being used for storage was damaged in the fire. The fire began in a first floor storage area and spread to the second story and attic of the structure.
The structure is owned by James McCleary, Warsaw.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. A damage estimate was unavailable at press time.
