The Warsaw Wellness Center presents an alternative health care fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in Center Lake Pavilion, Central Park, Warsaw.

According to Tim Hofer of the Wellness Center, there will be free demonstrations, free massages, free refreshments and plenty of information about alternative, preventive and complementary health issues.

"Millions of Americans are taking responsibility for their own health care," Hofer said, "seeking safe and effective treatment options without negative side effects."

Products and technologies offered Saturday will include: stress reduction, allergy treatment, weight control, chiropractic, aromatherapy and acupressure.

Representatives from Dr. Masterson's Chiropractic Clinic, Donna's Herb Shop and Kosciusko County Family Massage will be on hand as well as individuals from Horizon Pharmacy, Thin and Healthy and Curves for Women.

Other vendors will provide books and literature, free samples and demonstrations.

There will be information regarding immune system enhancement, homeopathy, foods and other natural therapies.

Details about high technology products using the earth's natural energy and far-infra wave energy will be provided.

The average age of people in the United States is approximately 45 years, Hofer said. Many people are concerned about minor or major discomforts they are beginning to experience.

"In many cases natural products and alternative therapies go a long way toward improving quality of life," he said. "A large percentage of Americans are seeking safe, natural approaches to managing their own health."

Saturday's Health Fair will provide an opportunity to see a variety of products, services and technologies that approach health in a pro-active fashion.

Many of the products may provide benefits even after an injury has occurred.

This is the health fair's third year. For more information call Hofer at 566-2818.
