Former Silver Lake Town Marshal Max Weller is recovering from injuries he received during a mugging Wednesday in Las Vegas.
According to Marsha McSherry, Weller's daughter, Weller was carjacked Wednesday by five people, who beat him and stole his money.
McSherry said Weller was released from the hospital and will return home this week.
