Warsaw Community Schools staff banded together Friday to provide food for families in need.
Following the adverse winter weather and historic cold temperatures last week, many families had not been able to leave home or work. WCS staff, concerned about local families who may be without food, delivered over 200 Boomerang Backpacks filled with food. Teachers, administrators, nurses and bus drivers delivered these backpacks despite the closure of school to ensure the safety and wellness of the community, according to a news release from WCS.
