One of the most anticipated nights of the Warsaw Community High School men’s soccer season is back.
WCHS men’s soccer will host its annual Hispanic Heritage Night on Thursday, Oct. 1 as the Tigers take on Northridge.
The annual event brings students, families and community members together for an evening celebrating Hispanic culture through food, music, entertainment and soccer. Admission is free for the entire community, with festivities beginning at 6:30 p.m. and the varsity match kicking off at 7 p.m., according to a news release provided by Warsaw Community Schools.
WCS’ Dual Language Immersion students will help make the evening special by participating in various roles throughout the event. Guests will also enjoy a pregame performance by dancers from Our Lady of Guadalupe, a piñata activity at halftime and a Spanish-speaking announcer as part of the experience.
A variety of food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening, including tacos, fruit cups, loaded nachos, elotes, buchones, horchata, merengues, empanadas and water.
Hispanic Heritage Night has become a favorite annual tradition for the WCHS men’s soccer program and an opportunity to celebrate the cultures represented throughout WCS and the greater Warsaw community, the release states.
WCHS men’s soccer invites the entire community to come celebrate, enjoy the festivities and cheer on the Tigers!
