A Warsaw Community High School junior counselor was arrested Tuesday morning for possession of marijuana and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Pamela Ann Rozelle, 37, of 2410 E. Kemo Ave., Warsaw, was arrested after being found with a 17-year-old juvenile in a parked car. The two were discovered by Winona Lake Police Officer Joe Bumbaugh in the Stonehenge parking lot. Winona Lake Town Marshal Paul Schmitt said Bumbaugh noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in the Stonehenge parking lot around midnight Monday. Baumbaugh observed the minor getting out of the driver’s side of the car and dropping paraphernalia on the ground, as well as smelling marijuana, Schmitt said. Bumbaugh then apprehended both subjects. Rozelle was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and contributing to the delinquency of a minor under the age of 18. The 17-year-old was arrested and released to a guardian. Dr. Craig Hintz, Warsaw Community Schools superintendent, said this morning that the superintendent’s office is investigating the matter at this time. Once the investigation is complete, the superintendent’s office will provide a statement to the media at the earliest time possible.
