WCHS Announces ‘18-’19 Homecoming RoyaltyOn Sept. 21, Warsaw Community High School celebrated its annual homecoming celebration with a parade, football game and crowning of the homecoming court.
This year’s freshman homecoming court representatives were Peri Britton, daughter of Kelly and Orsa Britton; Jonathan West, son of Jenny and Kris West; Emilee Schmucker, daughter of Cheryl and Jodi Schmucker; and Tyler Kuhn, son of Carol and Tim Hammann.
The sophomore homecoming representatives were Sydney Lancaster, daughter of Jennifer and Jim Lancaster; and Tucker Carlile, son of Tara and Hunter Carlile.
The junior homecoming representatives included Daylen Turner, daughter of Shannon Nallens and Nathan Turner; Kanton Waddle, son of Angelina and Jason Waddle; Jaelyn Miller, daughter of Michelle Parker and Matthew Miller; and Agustin Hidalgo, son of Sonia and Agustin Hidalgo.
The senior homecoming representative were Daisy Hernandez, daughter of Yolanda and Francisco Hernandez; Alex Becerra, son of Mariela Munoz and Jaime Becerra; Lex Desenberg, daughter of Heather and Louis Desenberg; Logan Johnson, son of Rachel and Matt Johnson; Rachel Yeager, daughter of Megan and Steve Yeager; Jaylen Reese, son of Amy and Chris Reese.
The 2018 homecoming queen was Raegan Merchant, daughter of Erin and Tim Merchant. The 2018 homecoming king was Daytona Hill, son of Sherri and Roger Hill.
The WCHS student council thanks Caden and Owen Walmer, sons of Kari and Geoff Walmer, and Camila and Alice Rojas, daughters of Cindy Rojas, for their help with homecoming coronation.
North Pointe Cinemas donated the homecoming king’s gift.
