Warsaw Woman Dies In Miami County Cycle Crash

MIAMI COUNTY - A Warsaw woman died in a one-vehicle accident Sunday.
Leigh A. Roberts, 39, Warsaw, was traveling south on Ind. 19 near CR 300 when her 2007 Yamaha motorcycle went off the road.
According to an Indiana State Police report, Roberts applied the rear brake while negotiating a curve, causing the motorcycle to slide sideways.
Roberts was ejected from the motorcycle and transported to Dukes Hospital, where she died from severe head trauma.
Roberts was not wearing a helmet, the police report stated.
The crash is under investigation.
