A Warsaw woman died Saturday evening as a result of injuries suffered in a car accident Thursday.
Jennifer M. Rose, 19, Levi Lee Road, died at Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, where she was being treated for internal injuries to her chest and head.
The accident occurred on Ind. 15 near Warsaw. According to a witness, Rose was passing traffic on Ind. 15 near CR 350N when she hit a van head-on. The driver of the van, Helmut H. Eckelbarger, 43, Peru, was not injured. He told police he tried to avoid the collision but could not because Rose was weaving in and out of traffic.
