A 21-year-old Warsaw woman is in critical condition following a one-car accident Saturday night.
At 8:42 p.m., police were dispatched to CR 250N, west of CR 100E, to respond to a one-car accident.
When police arrived they found a 1992 Toyota Camry, driven by Kendra Locke, 21. The car struck a tree along CR 250N. Police are still investigating why Locke's car left the roadway.
According to police, Locke suffered serious head trauma and was airlifted by Samaritan Helicopter to Fort Wayne. Locke is listed in critical condition as of this morning.
A passenger in Locke's vehicle, Brian Nine, 25, Warsaw, suffered internal injuries and was airlifted to Parkview. As of this morning, Nine was listed in fair condition at Parkview.
The Kosciusko County Fatal Alcohol Team is investigating the accident and were assisted at the scene by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Warsaw Police Department, Warsaw Fire Department, Indiana State Police, Multi-Township EMS and Leesburg Fire Department.
