This is going to be an exciting and fun event,” said Angel Hernandez, WNIT’s production vice president. The grand prize winner will receive $1,000 cash and the opportunity to appear on WNIT programs. Other awards will be given to each of the top two contestants. Judging will be conducted by area arts professionals, media personnel, professional performers and local celebrities. In addition, the public will be invited to call in to vote for their favorites. “This is a tremendous opportunity for singers, musicians, actors, and other performing artists to showcase their talent.
