Warsaw Residents Can Take Himalayan With A Pinch of Salt
Posted
Staff Report-
Rhonda Williamson and Christina Slone recently brought their Himalayan Salt Creations business to Warsaw.
The two previously operated out of Elkhart County, then from a flea market in Warsaw before opening their location at 109 E. Market St., Warsaw, Aug. 2.
Williamson describes the products she sells as a way to promote a “healthy way of life.”
The store sells edible salt, which Williamson claims is good for people with high blood pressure.
“The salt has 84 of the 92 minerals in your body,” said Williamson.
The store also sells salt lamps, which Williamson said helps people sleep and people with allergies, sinuses, asthma and chronic pain.
The store also sells jewelry, soy candles, massage and heating stones along with other products.
Williamson said they just invented a therapeutic hot/cold pad that is patent pending.
This is the third year for the operation, which first opened at the Old Amish Market in Goshen.
Friday and Saturday, the store will hold grand-opening events.
Don and Sue Ousley of Outdoor Living Center will be cooking chicken on salt tile that people can sample.
Items will be 20 percent off throughout the store, with the exception of some items which are already 35 percent off.
The store is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The store will be open until 8 p.m. this Friday for First Friday.
