Warsaw Plan Commission will discuss a preliminary and final plat request, and a request for a public way vacation during its meeting tonight.
William and Phyllis Varney are requesting preliminary and final plat approval for three residential subdivision lots at 826 S. Union St. The petitioners want to split their existing lot into three residential lots.
The request is an attempt to clear up a confusing restrictive covenant agreement that was approved, but never completed, in 1991.
By approving the subdivision, it will provide three single-family residential lots, two of which already have single-family homes on the lots. The subdivision will allow for the construction of a third home and separate the existing two single-family homes.
The commission also will review a vacation of public right of way request from Gary McGinnis.
The request is for lot 28 of Jaques Second Addition. If the commission approves the request, it will need to be reviewed by the Warsaw City Council for approval.
The commission meets tonight at 7 p.m. at city hall.
