Warsaw Planners To Approve Final Anchorage Bay Plat

Posted

A final plat approval for the Anchorage Bay subdivision, between Sunset and Bluewater drives and south of Anchorage Road, will be sought by RN & GC Properties Inc. before the Warsaw Plan Commission this evening.

Last month, the plan commissioners gave preliminary approval to replatting the 2.231-acre property. Lots five through eight, along the Pike Lake channel, will be affected. This removes a common area to create a building site. The new design also calls for a circular drive to be known as Bay Circle Drive for access onto Anchorage Road.

Several local residents came before the board in February to question traffic issues, drainage and additional watercraft on the channel.

A replat of McElroy Hill Business Park, owned by Ray and Dianne Plummer, also will be heard. Preliminary approval for 23 lots and one outlot were approved at the February meeting.

Tonight's hearing will include a Jones & Henry Engineering-approved sanitary sewer plan.

The third and final item of business is for a two-lot subdivision as requested by Edward and Patricia Likens at 3720 Lake City Highway.

The petitioner is requesting the approval to build an office building.

Plan commission members are Joe Thallemer, Jeff Grose, Jim Gast, Dewey Lawshe, Richard Keeven and Alan Clingan.
